With great joy the gvSIG Association invites to the 3rd gvSIG Uruguayan Conference and the 1st Free Technologies Conference on Geographic Information and Open Data.
The call is for October 2 and 3, 2014, in the Antel Auditorium, city of Montevideo.
Under the slogan “Free and responsible information management – a heritage issue” participants will meet to exchange experiences in the use and development of free software GIS tools.
GvSIG Association proposes collaboration and knowledge sharing as fundamental values in the project development and indispensable for its sustainability. In this sense they have been working in recent years to generate dissemination and training spaces where technicians and users, students and professionals can share their experiences.
The 3rd. gvSIG Uruguayan Conference has a wider objective: Bring together and strengthen the community that uses Geographic Information Free Softwares in general Open Geodata.
Aiming to spread the use of gvSIG and other free tools to help bringing geographic information to the public, gvSIG also invites you to be part of 1st Free Technologies Conference on Geographic Information and Open Data.
