The new addition was acknowledged at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. One of the new features known as multipoint cable cam, will allow users to fly the UAVs to a certain point and obtain shots. This shot can then be framed and marked in the app. The new feature will enable help users in setting a new video keyframe, something which they couldn't do earlier. Another noteworthy feature called Freelook Follow was also introduced at the event by 3D Robotics. The feature will allow drones to follow their owners. Although users can still control the drone camera, the feature can be used in hunting or tracking.
