The 27th International Cartographic Conference, one of the most relevant events of the Cartography and Geoinformation fields, will take place at Rio de Janeiro from August 23 to 28, 2015. ICC, which is carried out every two years, will be held for the second time in South America and for the first time in Brazil.
The event will have a forum for the presentation of papers that will illustrate the current efforts of the community and the most modern methods employed by mapping organizations. The call for abstracts is open and the paper submission deadline is October 15, 2014.
Besides of presentations, the conference will provide attendants with international mapping exhibitions, as well as being an opportunity for the Cartography and GI Science community to meet and interchange.
