CXO Summit
Theme: Geospatial Industry in Evolving World Order
27 April - 01 May 2026, Amsterdam
Geospatial World hosted a series of CXO Summits & GWF 2026 Launch Receptions across global cities between August 2025 and February 2026. These gatherings were designed to encourage high-level engagement among stakeholders of the geospatial ecosystem, capture evolving industry trends, and create opportunities for networking, collaboration, and partnership-building. Together, they built momentum for the Geospatial World Forum 2026, which was scheduled to be held in Amsterdam from 27 April to 1 May 2026.
Guided by its mission of “Advancing Knowledge for Sustainability,” Geospatial World was committed to demonstrating the value of the geospatial industry and its vital role in advancing sovereignty, strengthening economies, and serving societies. With a vision to mainstream geospatial knowledge infrastructure and align it with the global development agenda, it worked in close collaboration with the full spectrum of the ecosystem—including national mapping agencies, professional societies, international organizations, industry players, and end-user communities.
The Amsterdam edition took place on 13 October 2025 at the Novotel Hotel, co-hosted with Dutch Kadaster, The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency. Kadaster was responsible for collecting and maintaining administrative and spatial data on property rights, ships, aircraft, and telecom networks—ensuring legal certainty. In addition, it managed national mapping, maintained the reference coordinate system, and provided advisory services on land-use and national spatial data infrastructures.
In an era of geopolitical shifts and rapid technological advances, the CXO Summit offered a unique platform to examine the geospatial industry’s role in shaping resilient economies, sustainable societies, and innovative business models in the Autonomous Age. Bringing together 70+ senior leaders under one roof, the Amsterdam event served as a forum for sharing insights, exchanging ideas, and forging collaborations.
As the official countdown to GWF 2026 began, this reception set the stage for meaningful dialogue and collective action toward a more sustainable, knowledge-driven future.
