Since its inception in 2021, the GWF Rising Stars program has been a platform for young geospatial leaders who are redefining how technology can address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. As we mark its fifth year, this special session at Geospatial World Forum 2025 will celebrate the journey of these innovators, showcasing their transformative impact across industries and communities.
From climate resilience and disaster management to smart infrastructure and sustainable urban planning, Rising Stars have leveraged cutting-edge GIS, AI-driven analytics, and spatial intelligence to drive meaningful change. Their ground-breaking projects have not only influenced policy and decision-making but also enhanced the way we interact with geospatial technology in daily life.
