Agriculture Summit

Theme: Precision Agriculture: Bridging Innovation with Sustainability

24 APRIL 2025 Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hall - Berlin

Concept Note

Geospatial World Forum 2025 will host one-day program on Agriculture Summit. As the digital landscape evolves, the summit will focus on leveraging precision agriculture to enhance sustainability, security, and equity within the agricultural system. Recognizing the urgent need for systemic change, the program will underscore the critical role of advanced digital technologies, data driven insights and multi-stakeholder collaboration in addressing the growing challenges posed by environmental shifts and rising expectations.

Precision agriculture, powered by real-time data, satellite imagery, and advanced analytics, offers unprecedented opportunities to optimize resource use, improve crop yields, and reduce environmental impact. The summit will explore how integrating these technologies can address the complex challenges of climate change, food security, and sustainable land management.

Key discussions will focus on the role of digital twins in simulating and managing agricultural ecosystems, enabling farmers to make data-driven decisions with greater accuracy. Additionally, the summit will emphasize the importance of collaboration among stakeholders-including policymakers, technology providers, researchers, and the farming community-to accelerate the adoption of these innovations.
