Shri. S. S. Raja Shekhar is Head Applications at Regional Remote Sensing Centres, NRSC / ISRO. He has 26 years of experience in the field of geospatial technologies and has contributed in development of satellite image processing, application software and WebGIS solutions for Scientific, Governance and Societal applications.

He pioneered the development of e-governance applications, Bhuvan platform, Real Time Decisions Support Systems and Emergency Management systems for Nuclear Emergencies and Chemical Emergencies - ONERS and ROCERS. He worked extensively in development of Drought Monitoring System both for national and international domains. Currently he is leading application and services development for the project Space Based Information Support for Decentralised planning (SISDP) providing large scale thematic data at 1:10k scale on Bhuvan Panchayat portal.

Shri. S. S. Raja Shekhar is a gold medallist in the field of Physics from Osmania University and recipient of awards like ISRO Young Scientist award, ASI award and ISRO team excellence awards for development of Bhuvan platform.

Sh. R. Srinivas former Town and Country Planner in Town and Country Planning Organization worked for more than three decades. He has done his Post Graduation Urban and Regional Planning from IIT Kharagpur and Professional Masters in Urban Planning and Management from ITC Netherlands. He was heading the Metropolitan and Union Territories Division.

Presently, he is engaged as Urban Planning expert with ADB Transit Oriented Development Cell, Institute of Urban Transport, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. He has also been nominated as Secretary, Institute of Urban Transport for 2024-2026.

He had been instrumental in guiding the preparation of Urban and Regional Development and Plan Formulation Guidelines (URDPFI), 2014 and Model Building Bye-Laws, 2016.Further; he was the team leader for monitoring the reforms implementation in Construction Permit under the World Bank's Doing Business Report for Municipal Corporations of Mumbai and Delhi. He had also been member of Task Force on Ease of Doing Business for Construction Permit and played an important role as team leader in facilitating the improvement in Country's ranking in Doing Business Report - Construction Permit. He had also assisted High Level committee on Urban Planning towards the preparation of Report I&II,2024.

He has also been a visiting faculty to School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students. He has been very proactive on professional front being Secretary, Delhi Regional Chapter, ITPI (2003-05) and Co- Chairman, Evaluation Committee; ITPI (2006 -2024). He has 35 publications to his credit.
