Harshal Limdi is a mechanical engineer from REC, Surat. He has completed his post graduate diploma in finance from Symbiosis Institute of Distance Learning. He is having 24 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, energy management and performance improvement, climate change, environment management, sustainability and digitalization.
He is a GradIRM (Level-3) risk management professional, Accredited Energy Auditor by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), IGBC LEED AP and CMVP (Certified Measurement & Verification Professional). He has worked in Sterlite Copper, TUV SUD South Asia and Aditya Birla Group prior to joining JSW group. Currently working as Head of Environment and Biodiversity for JSW Group.
He has commendable performance in Energy Management sectors such as Cement, Aluminum, Pulp & Fiber, Carbon Black, Textiles, Chlor-Alkali, Fertilizers and Buildings to his credit.
In his current role, he leads strategic initiatives related to environment and biodiversity Currently leading key initiatives related to climate change, water neutrality, ResponsibleSteel certification and "No Net Loss" of biodiversity.
