NAVICON's Navigation Computer is a real-time mission-critical software-product running on standard, embedded or MILSPEC computers that has been developed in close cooperation with the Royal Danish Navy. The Navigation Computer takes input from sources such as Military GPS, Civilian GPS, inertial navigation systems, gyros, speed logs, wind gauges, echo sounders and other. It performs advanced input evaluation to detect faulty signals or systematic errors. Accepted signals are then exposed to a Kalman filter in order to perform sensor fusion.
