Our industry colleagues from Pix4D SA. have posted this work – 3D model of the earthquake damaged Durbar Square in Kathmandu. According to them, the 3D model was created using aerial video shot by Kishor Rana with a drone, Matthew Schroyer of the Professional Society of Drone Journalists extracted image stills to create this 3D model of the earthquake damage in Kathmandu’s Durbar Square.
The model has three scenes describing the destroyed architectural monuments in the Nepal earthquake – Temple Maju Deval, Gaddi Baithak, Kasthamandap, The Kumari Ghar.
