Integrating Survey, CAD and GIS into a Single Solution

This presentation will demonstrate/discuss the benefits of integrating different data formats into a single, profitable, process based solution. Using hardware and software products from Trimble, Google, and Autodesk many different types of data (Bentley, ESRI, Trimble, etc.) will be assembled in preparation for conducting a topographic survey. Raw field data from a Trimble TSC2 will be imported and used to build a 3D model of the site in Autodesk Civil 3D. A simple design will be created and exported to Trimble's Site Vision Office for Machine Control grading. The finished design will then be published to Google Earth, and Autodesk MapGuide. Using GIS for construction management will also be discussed / presented.
