The demand for efficient display and analysis of 3D spatial data in geospatial information systems (GIS) has been rapidly grown and products of digital photogrammetric systems are among the main resources of spatial data for GIS. Therefore integration of digital photogrammetric systems and GIS offers new possibilities for users.

In this research a number of available methods of integration of GIS and digital photogrammetric systems are critically reviewd. These methods are: (1) 'Disconnected system' that output of digital photogrammetric system are connected to input of GIS. (2) 'Connected system' that the two systems connected together using functions of the two systems. (3) 'Integrated system' that contains the two systems.

A new method of GIS and digital photogrammetric system integration are introduced in this paper. The method contains digital photogrammetric systems, GIS and CAD systems and is an internet-based integration approach. Efficient parameters in the designed system are: (1) new demands (3D modeling, 3D visualization and 3D analysis) (2) data updating (by georeferenced images) (3) internet for accessing and transforming data (4) covering a range of products of digital photogrammetric systems (3D vectors data, digital terrain modeling, orthophoto and close range data).

Internet programming languages, importance of internet in transforming and accessing data and 3D visualization in integration of GIS and digital photogrammertry are discussed. 3D vector data acquisition by digital photogrammetrric method, new integration method and the use of CAD systems are elaborated in this paper. In addition, application of aerial and close range images in raster GIS using the recommended method are presented.
