Leica Geosystems releases mojoGLIDE

< 1 Minute Read

(Heerbrugg, Switzerland) Leica Geosystems announced the release of the Leica mojoGLIDE system for agricultural machinery with a new dual-frequency GLIDE positioning technology that provides 15 to 20 cm accuracy without subscription fees. The system can be operated without base station.

The Leica mojoGLIDE is a dual frequency (DGPS) auto-steer system that can easily be upgraded to RTK accuracy, eliminating the need to purchase additional radios, antennas, or mobile modems. Like the Leica mojoRTK system, the mojoGLIDE console is quick and easy to install fitting in a DIN radio-slot and comes with Leica Geosystemsโ€™ patented 9-axis terrain compensation for the best performance even in very slope terrain.

The Leica mojoGLIDE is fully upgradable to RTK accuracy with an unlock code. Once the unlock code is purchased, the console can be used with a personal base station or on a GSM/GPRS Network. No additional hardware or upgrades will be required to obtain RTK accuracy.

Leica Geosystemsโ€™ remote service and support tool Virtual Wrench can be used with the Leica mojoGLIDE console allowing customers to get quick support in the field. Virtual Wrench also provides customers with advanced guidance options, RTK accuracy or other software upgrades to their console.
