UAI continues rapid growth with addition of third-quarter contract signings

UAI (Utility Automation Integrators, Inc.) continued its rapid growth in the third quarter of 2002 with the addition of 12 clients and signing of contracts totaling $4.2 million.

UAI’s third-quarter signings include: Palmetto Electric Cooperative, Hilton Head, SC; City of Ed Dorado Springs, MO; Flint Energies, Reynolds, GA; Jo-Carroll EMC, Elizabeth, IL; City of Portland (OR) Water; Jackson Purchase, Paducah, KY; High West Energy, Pine Bluffs, WY; Taylor Electric, Merkel, TX; Ralls County EMC, New London, MO.; Boone EC, Colombia, MO; Roanoke EC, Rich Square, NC; and Athens Utilities Gas Department, Athens, AL.

Utilities signed will be implementing UAI’s UtilityCenter™ technology to meet specific needs for facilities, field engineering and/or outage management. UAI is also providing GPS field data collection or data conversion services to establish The DigitalUtility™, an ESRI-based intelligent, electronic map of each client’s service area.
