Mapsolute, Inc.,Germany-based Internet mapping provider, today announced its formal entry into the North American market with the launch of its new web site https://www.map24.com.
Map24.com is a free online mapmaking tool that provides individuals and businesses on-line maps and door-to-door directions. The launch of the new Internet site brings the very popular European based Map24 brand to North America with easy-to-use maps, detailed driving directions, at Internet speeds that are many times faster than other North American map sites.
By leveraging Mapsolute’s vector mapping technology, MapTP, the site offers users animated zooming and panning, making the user experience uniquely interactive. The tool also allows users to click on embedded map objects to get detailed information about individual points of interest.
The company also announced the formation of its North American subsidiary, Mapsolute, Inc. The new subsidiary, based in Natick, Massachusetts, will sell and support the flagship mapping products, MapTP and Map24. Jim Edelmann has been named president of Mapsolute Inc.
