Google Maps is adding features to its Maps Services to alert users about COVID-19 related travel restrictions. Google maps users will now receive alerts like the requirement to wear a mask in public transport and how crowded a train station is at a particular time. Google Maps users who are looking for medical facilities or COVID-19 testing centres will also receive alerts reminding them of facility safety guidelines and to verify eligibility for testing to avoid being turned away
