Miner & Miner (M&M) and AED-SICAD declare a strategic developer partnership to embed ArcFM within the next generation of SICAD-UT based on the ESRI ArcGIS platform. This partnership follows the announcement of AED-SICAD’s plans to re-engineer their current SICAD products for utilities to ESRI technology. In order to benefit from the ArcFM branding and jump-start the development efforts, the company will leverage the ArcFM components and incorporate them into the final ESRI-based SICAD-UT product. This will allow AED-SICAD to concentrate on extending the overall application to further meet the needs of the European utility market. Development plans are already underway and the initial release is scheduled for the end of 2003.
