The Ordnance Survey Options network has supplied its one millionth order for digital map data. The milestone was reached through an order fulfilled by the mapping outlet Latitude, based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. Launched in September 2002, Ordnance Survey Options is a nationwide network of 140 specialist retailers providing Ordnance Survey’s digital and paper products to small- and medium-sized businesses and consumers. Significantly, digital map data from Ordnance Survey has been independently assessed to underpin economic activity in Britain worth £100 billion each year, around 8% of GDP.
