Applied Geographics has won a contract with the City of Rye, New York to conduct a major photogrammetric data conversion project. AGI will convert tiled AutoCAD-format planimetric and topographic layers to city-wide seamless GIS data layers, perform utility data and annotation conversion, and automate City utility networks. In addition, AGI will provide on-call GIS implementation assistance, and will develop specific applications: An Abutters Notification Application for use throughout City Hall; and an enhanced Web-GIS parcel mapping application for use by City staff and the general public.
The Rye, NY effort is one of several municipal GIS data and application development projects presently undertaken by AGI in the Northeastern United States.
